Well, to celebrate the anniversary of the Brazilian signing for City on this day in 2007, you can watch how he recreated his iconic goal when he visited the City Football Academy in September 2023.
Sven-Goran Eriksson signed the playmaking midfielder on the same day as Vedran Corluka and Javier Garrido.
And the following month, in the eighth game of the Premier League season, following four wins, two defeats and one draw, Elano scored a stunner against Newcastle.
When you think of wonder goals in fixtures against the Magpies, the Brazilian’s stunner in the 3-1 win at the Etihad is certainly near the top of the pile.
So when the popular former midfielder visited the Etihad Stadium at the start of last season for the Fulham game to celebrate ‘Bahia Day’ we couldn’t resist asking him to recreate it.
He headed into the CFA with one aim – doing it all over again.
