Chelsea have reportedly stepped up their summer recruitment plans by opening discussions with Rayo Vallecano over a potential move for left-back Pep Chavarría, and have submitted a £42M offer.
CHELSEA are understood to be exploring the market for defensive reinforcements ahead of the new Premier League season, with Chavarría emerging as one of several players under consideration.
