**Liverpool have been contacted to explore their interest in reviving a deal for the messiest transfer in recent years: Yan Diomande.**
For those who have followed every update (and I mean every one), you would be just as glad as I am to hear that Liverpool have rejected the chance to sign Diomande this summer.
Initial claims that Diomande had rejected Liverpool were awry, and it had more to do with alleged legal issues surrounding his agency Roc Nation than the player’s supposed desire to join PSG, according to investigative football journalist [Romain Molina](https://x.com/Romain_Molina/status/2083308889152348548?s=20).
Now, with a move to Real Madrid stalling, his agents are once again panicking over what to do and have reached out to Liverpool and PSG again to explore reigniting a potential bidding war.

Diomande might be a lovely guy and a future Ballon d’Or winner, however, his talent does not necessarily make it worth having to entertain the antics of his agents.
Agents are largely a scourge on the beautiful game, and from the rumours flying around this summer, Roc Nation appear to be among the worst currently knocking about. If these rumours are true and not just silly season fodder, then Liverpool will have dodged a bullet.
As things stand, Liverpool are working hard to bring Bradley Barcola to Anfield, who is arguably the better player anyway.
