The report claims that SPL officials previously explored the possibility of signing the forward and contacted his agent Rami Abbas, who informed them that Salah would require a salary no lower than that of Sadio Mané and around a quarter of Cristiano Ronaldo’s salary to approve the move.
WinWin’s sources state that Abbas is still maintaining the same demand, with Salah seeking a staggering salary of approximately €40 million per year.
That is the salary equivalent to Mané’s reported earnings in Saudi Arabia and that number will be in addition to any commission owed to his representatives.
A move to Saudi Arabia would represent another major addition to the league’s growing collection of global superstars, with Salah’s name carrying enormous commercial and sporting value.
