Everton consider Johnstone
Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone has been linked with a move to Premier League side Everton - as per a report from journalist Alan Nixon.
However, Everton are first looking to find current No 2 Mark Travers regular first team football, although his wages are allegedly proving a stumbling block.
Johnstone underwent shoulder surgery towards the end of last season and has not yet featured for Wolves during pre-season, although he’s expected to return to training in the next fortnight.
The 33-year-old, who joined Wolves on a four-year deal in August 2024, made 17 appearances in all competitions last term.
Villa linked with Juventus midfielder
Aston Villa and Manchester United are reportedly set to battle it out for Juventus midfielder Teun Koopmeiners.
Italian outlet Calciomercato have claimed that both Villa and United are interested in the Netherlands international.
The report added that Koopmeiners could cost in the region of £25.66million, although Juve could also be open to a loan with an option to buy.
Koopmeiners made 45 appearances for Juve last term, scoring twice and setting up one more.
The 28-year-old, who has 32 caps for the Netherlands, played four times at the 2026 World Cup.
