Hull City have reportedly made a bid to sign Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam in the summer transfer window.
Iroegbunam sees his contract at the Hill Dickinson Stadium expire next summer, meaning Everton need to make a decision in the coming weeks.
The Toffees can either extend his contract and keep him at the club or sell him in the summer transfer window.
The other option is keeping him without extending his deal and then making a decision later in the season.
Everton do need to bring in some funds through sales in the summer window, so it certainly wouldn't be a surprise if they were pushing for a permanent exit.
Losing him for nothing when multiple clubs are interested wouldn't make a lot of sense, especially with Everton pretty well stocked in the midfield department.

Hull make Iroegbunam approach
According to journalist Pete O'Rourke, Hull City have made an approach to sign Everton midfielder Iroegbunam in the summer transfer window. The newly promoted side are looking at either a potential permanent deal or a loan move with an obligation to buy.
Several clubs are interested in signing the former Villa midfielder, but it's Hull who have now made an approach.
Everton now have a decision to make when it comes to Iroegbunam, especially as they close in on a new midfield signing.
The Toffees have agreed to a deal to sign Arsenal midfielder Christian Norgaard for a fee in the region of £7 million. This could open the door for Everton to make a sale in the midfield department, especially with Iroegbunam out of contract next summer.
Everton have spent a significant amount of money over the last couple of years, so there's no doubt they need to recoup some funds through sales. In reality, there is a chance that Iroegbunam is the 4th or 5th choice, depending on Moyes' preference, but there are certainly enough options for Everton to sanction an exit.
There's no doubt Iroegbunam is a highly rated young midfielder, but it's going to be difficult for him to break into the starting eleven next season. He's certainly a nice option to have as a squad player, but as mentioned, Everton do need to bring in some funds.
The difficulty Moyes's recruitment team has is that there is little value in many of their fringe players. An exit for Iroegbunam would make sense in the summer transfer window.
