Konsa offers recovery pace, calm distribution and strong positional awareness. He rarely looks rushed in possession and can comfortably operate at right-back if Arteta needs another tactical option during difficult fixtures.

Arsenal have every reason to push for Konsa, although paying the full £60 million would feel like an expensive reaction to an injury crisis.
A bid around £50 million strikes a fair balance. Villa would still receive a significant fee for one of their key defenders, while Arsenal would avoid stretching beyond sensible value for a player approaching his twenty-ninth birthday and entering the final stage of his contract. That matters because resale value drops quickly once a player reaches that point.
If Aston Villa refuse to move from £60 million, Arsenal shouldn’t panic. Ben White can shift into central defence, while Cristhian Mosquera offers another option inside the squad. There are capable defenders elsewhere in Europe available for less money.
