After a strong first half, Liverpool struggled mightily in the second, giving up four goals in a 4-2 **loss** to **Leeds**.
* **Mamardashvili (5/10):** A couple of really nice saves, but was caught on the wrong foot on Leeds' third goal
* **Kerkez (5/10):** Nice touch on his assist but quiet the rest of the way, plus a bad giveaway
* **Szoboszlai (7/10):** Solid but not as spectacular as the first two matches
* **Wirtz (7/10):** Lovely finish for the second goal
* **Isak (6/10):** Not bad for his first time out this season
* **Nyoni (5/10):** An average day at the office
* **Chambers (7/10):** Thunderous strike for the opening goal
* **Frimpong (6/10):** Showed flashes of speed, but did not see enough of the ball
* **Morrison (5/10):** Second straight game where he has not done much
* **Ngumoha (9/10):** Hardly put a foot wrong during his first half of play
* **Ndukwe (5/10):** Up and down match
* **Jones (6/10):** Strong play in the midfield after coming on, but did not lead to much
* **Gravenberch (5/10):** Name was barely called in the second half
* **Chiesa (6/10):** One good moment in the attack
* **Koumas (5/10):** Not just him, but really flat second half
* **Ndiaye (6/10):** Would have had a higher score, but a couple of bad passes late on
* **Elliott (7/10):** Best player for the second half
* **Tsimikas (5/10):** Quiet game
* **Scanlon (5/10):** Part of a defense that gave up four goals in the second half
* **Ramsay (6/10):** Bright play late in the contest
* **Andoni Iraola (6/10):** Second half subs did not work well
For as good as Liverpool was in the first half, they were equally as bad in the second. I know it’s just pre-season, but this is a bit worrying from the Reds
