Liverpool fans will be left disappointed with Fabrizio Romano’s latest Barcola transfer update
Fabrizio Romano has given an update on the Bradley Barcola transfer and Liverpool fans will be frustrated to learn that it isn’t going to be a quick process.
On social media, frustration le have been gathering amongst Liverpool fans at the squad depth currently afforded to Andoni Iraola for the new season and therefore want Liverpool to complete transfers quickly.
On CaughtOffside Romano reported that talks between Liverpool and PSG wouldn’t be recommencing until next week, although Romano did state that “that fans should not expect a finalised deal immediately.”
What do we know about the Barcola transfer?
Within this update Romano also revealed that Barcola was happy with a move to Liverpool and negotiations with the player and club would not be a problem.
Barcola has already clarified that he doesn’t want to extend his stay at PSG, which comes to an end at the end of next season.
PSG are actively attempting to sign replacements and have recently been linked with Godts of Ajax.
The price that PSG are reportedly willing to accept in somewhere in the region from €120 million to €170, with Liverpool set to offer a deal in the €140 million region, but the deal would be highly structured on performance incentives.
