There should be at least a couple more incomings at Chelsea following the arrival of Valentin Barco.
Chelsea announced the signing of Barco from sister club Strasbourg on Sunday, but their transfer business will not finish there.
Jordan Henderson is set to join the Blues after Brentford agreed to release the midfielder from his contract.

It is also being reported that Pep Chavarria’s move to Chelsea is imminent, which is a positive development for Xabi Alonso. Once those transfers go through, the Spaniard will have pretty much wrapped up all of his signings.
In fact, BBC Sport journalist Nizaar Kinsella has claimed on X that Chelsea will be “close to done” on incomings once Henderson and Chavarria arrive.
If sales happen, more incomings are still possible. However, it looks as though Chelsea have done the bulk of their transfer business.
Unless Enzo Fernandez is sold, there is probably not much more for the sporting directors to do in the transfer market as far as incomings go if anything at all.

The left wing was a bit of an issue, but that has been addressed following the signing of Morgan Rogers. Chelsea have also strengthened the centre-back position by bringing in Maxence Lacroix. That was also a problem area last season.
Welbeck and Henderson will also add some much-needed experience and pedigree to this young Chelsea squad.
Ultimately, concluding their business with Henderson and Chavarria probably makes sense.
Chelsea made a bid for Alex Scott last month, but if Fernandez stays, they will probably not need the Bournemouth midfielder. Fernandez, Henderson, Barco, Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia and Dario Essugo should be enough, though there will be concerns surrounding the fitness of the last two players.
Overall, Alonso can be pleased with the transfer business that Chelsea have managed to do this summer. If they cannot qualify for the Champions League playing once a week with this squad, all hope is lost.
