Liverpool will waste little time in reporting for training after the conclusion of their US tour, with Andoni Iraola‘s squad bolstered by four first-team additions this week.
Two weeks after jetting off for the United States, Liverpool’s squad landed back on Merseyside on Monday morning after departing shortly after their first pre-season loss against Leeds.
The players will have Tuesday to readjust to the time zone and see their families before reconvening at the AXA Training Centre on Wednesday, as per the Athletic.
Liverpool’s schedule will then predominantly focus on training and their three remaining friendlies, with new signings (hopefully) and players returning from the World Cup to bolster the squad.
When do Van Dijk, Gakpo, Alisson, Munoz and Mac Allister return to Liverpool training?

Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo returned to training last week, but instead of joining the team in the US, they reported straight to the AXA.
They will be welcomed back into the fold this week, with Alisson and Victor Munoz also adding to the senior numbers after their summer break.
Liverpool’s goalkeeper was handed an extended four-week break, while the club’s most recent signing has cut his holiday short to settle into his new surroundings and meet his teammates.
Alexis Mac Allister, meanwhile, will only report back from August 10 after being involved in the final World Cup match.
When do Liverpool play next?

Liverpool host Monaco at Anfield on Sunday, August 9, in a 2.30pm (BST) kickoff.
Supporters will expect to see Van Dijk and Gakpo, at the very least, with Alisson and Munoz potentially also featuring.
The Reds will then host a double-header against Serie A’s Como on Sunday, August 16.
The first match will be played behind closed doors at 12pm (BST), before Anfield opens its doors for the second friendly at 6pm (BST).

Liverpool will remain without Vitezslav Jaros, Joe Gomez, Conor Bradley, Hugo Ekitike and Giovanni Leoni due to their respective injury and recovery plans.
Meanwhile, there are hopes Jeremie Frimpong has avoided injury after asking to come off against Leeds, while Jeremy Jacquet has to prove his fitness after being carefully managed in the US.
Wataru Endo and Stefan Bajcetic returned to training during the US tour, and Iraola could seek to give the pair some minutes in the upcoming friendlies.
A number of academy players could drop out in the coming weeks, and Iraola will hope to welcome several new signings before the trip to St James’ Park on August 23.
