Kyran Thompson has completed a move to Newcastle United following his departure from Arsenal.
The 16-year-old featured prominently for Arsenal U18s last season while he was still a schoolboy and was also involved at U21 and U19 levels.
Capable of playing as a winger or a forward, the England youth international was offered a scholarship and subsequent professional contract by Arsenal but elected to join Newcastle instead.
Thompson had previously been at Arsenal’s Hale End academy when he was very young before leaving to join West Ham. He returned to the Gunners in 2024.
