‘I’m waiting’ – Liverpool target admits he is open to a transfer
Liverpool have been linked with a handful of attackers as they aim to replace Mohamed Salah.
Victor Munoz has already joined the club and the Reds remain locked in talks to sign Bradley Barcola from PSG.
However, with Federico Chiesa flattering to deceive, Hugo Ekitike injured and Cody Gakpo linked with a move to Tottenham, there is space for another attacker at Anfield.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Ferran Torres, who is still reeling from his high at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final vs Argentina.
And now, the Spanish international has spoken about his future, which proves that he is open to a transfer.
Liverpool target Ferran Torres open to leaving this summer
Torres has also been linked with a move to PSG and Tottenham, with the Parisian giants leading the race, according to Fabrizio Romano.
And now, the Barcelona man has admitted that he has a contract at the club until the end of the season, but kept the door open to a transfer this summer.
“My future? I have a contract with Barcelona, but in football you never know. I’m waiting to make the right decision,” said Torres to NBC via Fabrizio Romano.
“I don’t know, I don’t know yet. Is there a dream club? Yes. Which one? I just want to be happy.”
An attacker wearing F Torres at the back and playing at Anfield would bring back some glorious memories. However, it does look like Ferran will either remain at Barcelona or move to PSG, so it doesn’t look like he’s joining Liverpool.
