Chelsea have confirmed the signing of England international Jordan Henderson on a two-year contract, adding a wealth of experience and leadership to Enzo Maresca’s squad ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season.
The 36-year-old midfielder arrives at Stamford Bridge with one of the most decorated résumés in English football, having won eight major trophies during his career, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
Henderson’s arrival marks another significant addition for CHELSEA as the Blues continue reshaping their squad in preparation for the new campaign. The signing also provides Xabi Alonso with another experienced option in midfield as Chelsea prepare for a demanding campaign across multiple competitions. Henderson’s tactical intelligence, passing range and ability to control the tempo of matches are expected to complement the club’s emerging young talent.
