The path towards signing Bradley Barcola by Liverpool has started to take its shape. Paris Saint-Germain have signed two good potential replacements on that position. Now Liverpool may start discussions to secure the signing of the French winger from PSG. The move of Barcola joining the Reds could be a record breaking one.
Bradley Barcola to Liverpool could be one of the best signings of this summer
As reported by Yahoo Sports, Liverpool have identified Barcola as their primary target for the right wing position. If he joins, he will be the direct replacement of Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah. The French forward has proved in Ligue 1 and Champions League that he could be a figure of that stature. The PSG winger has also conveyed his desire to make a transfer to Merseyside.
The Premier League giants have not agreed on the personal terms with Barcola yet. But the scenario suggests that it will not be very difficult for the Reds to accept the football player’s personal demands. If club to club agreement is done between the two clubs, Barcola will not waste any time to join Liverpool.
But the main issue surrounding this potential deal is the massive transfer fee. The Ligue 1 champions are asking a record breaking price for the right winger. As reported by London Evening Standard, PSG have set a valuation of €170m for Bradley Barcola. Liverpool on the other hand, have agreed to present a similar offer for Barcola which they paid for Alexander Isak. They paid a British record fee of €145m for the Swedish striker. But they will not reach the asked price of €170m. The English side will send an offer for their long term target in the coming days. The bid is currently being processed by the Liverpool hierarchy.

PSG have signed two fantastic replacements
As reported by TEAMtalk, PSG have agreed on the fee with Monaco for the transfer of Maghnes Akliouche. Akliouche is ready to join the Champions League winners for €50m. Journalist Fabrice Hawkins has disclosed this story on his X account.
Hawkins said, “Maghnes Akliouche is set to sign with Paris for €50m, as anticipated for several weeks. The date of his medical visit has not yet been scheduled. He had several options but has always prioritised PSG.”He also said that the Monaco winger is the replacement of Kang-in Lee who has joined Atletico Madrid this summer. Youngster Ibrahim Mbaye will also seek to leave from Parc des Princes. So, Les Parisiens would sign another forward to replace Barcola. Fabrizio Romano provided some extra information regarding Akliouche. He said that the winger will sign a 5 year contract until June 2031.
Romano shared another announcement very quickly after Akliouche’s news. The Italian journalist posted on X that Ajax winger Mika Godts has agreed to join PSG. Negotiations are ongoing between the clubs and the fee involved maybe around €60m. He wrote, “Godts, ready to accept personal terms if the two clubs get the deal done. PSG are optimistic.”These two signings have made Barcola’s exit far more possible.
Fabrizio Romano’s view on Bradley Barcola’s situation
Romano discussed Barcola’s situation on his YouTube channel. He said that it will be very difficult for Liverpool to reach a financial agreement with PSG. There is no problem between the Reds and Barcola and the French winger is interested in this move. Liverpool will launch a bid in the coming days but nothing will happen very soon.
