Liverpool will play an additional friendly against Como as part of their pre-season schedule. Liverpool have also confirmed they will also face Cesc Fabregas’ side in a behind-closed-doors friendly earlier that day, with kick-off set for 12 noon.

Como have been busy in the summer transfer window and have agreed a deal worth £30.8m (€36m) with Chelsea to sign Trevoh Chalobah, according to Sky Sports.
The agreement includes an initial £25.7m (€30m), with a further £5.1m (€6m) in performance-related add-ons. The England international has already agreed personal terms with the Italian club, and Como are expected to complete the transfer after lengthy negotiations with Chelsea.
The sale of the academy graduate will represent pure profit for Chelsea, while Chalobah is set to return to Champions League football with Como, who will make their debut in the competition next season.
The 27-year-old is poised to end a near two-decade association with Chelsea, having joined the club’s academy in 2007.
Since establishing himself in the first team in 2021, he has made 151 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals and winning two Club World Cups, the FA Cup, the UEFA Super Cup and the UEFA Conference League.
Chalobah is unlikely to be the only centre-back to leave Chelsea this summer, with Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile also linked with moves away after slipping down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
Levi Colwill is expected to partner new signing Maxence Lacroix in central defence. Chalobah would become Chelsea’s fourth major sale of the summer, following the departures of Marc Cucurella, Tyrique George and Andrey Santos.
Chelsea have also strengthened significantly, with Marco Palestra, Emmanuel Emegha and Geovany Quenda arriving earlier in the window.
Morgan Rogers then became the club’s record signing in a £117m move from Aston Villa, while veteran striker Danny Welbeck joined from Brighton in a surprise transfer. On Sunday evening, Chelsea confirmed the arrival of Valentin Barco from sister club Strasbourg.
Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has also completed a move to Stamford Bridge, signing a two-year deal after leaving Brentford.
