Real Madrid issue ultimatum after Arsenal make transfer move
Arsenal have already made their move for Vinicius Junior, with Real Madrid now demanding a decision from the Brazilian over his future.
The latest update suggests the Gunners have presented their proposal to the winger and are waiting to see how Madrid respond.
Vinicius has entered the final year of his Real Madrid contract, leaving the Spanish giants facing a major decision this summer.
Jose Mourinho wants the 26-year-old to remain at the Bernabeu. However, club president Florentino Perez reportedly has no intention of allowing such a valuable asset to enter the final months of his deal without a resolution.
🚨 @JacobsBen: “For Vinicius Junior, there are two scenarios, not three, according to my information. Real Madrid are putting pressure on – sign, or we are going to sell you. From Arsenal’s perspective, they’re waiting for a counter.”

Ben Jacobs has told talkSPORT that Arsenal have already made their offer to Vinicius, rather than simply waiting to see whether negotiations with Real Madrid collapse.
According to Jacobs, Madrid are now presenting Vinicius with two options: sign a new contract or be sold.
The journalist says Arsenal have made their pitch first and are now “waiting for a counter”, putting the pressure back on Madrid and the player’s representatives.
Real reportedly want an answer from Vinicius this week.
That represents an important development from Arsenal’s previous position. ReadArsenal reported last week that the Gunners were preparing their first official proposal for the Real Madrid winger.
Jacobs now claims that proposal has been made.
Mourinho remains determined to keep Vinicius, but Perez’s stance means a transfer could become realistic if the winger refuses Madrid’s latest contract terms.
Jacobs believes Arsenal would currently be the most likely destination if Madrid sanction a sale.
There is still a long way to go before any transfer can be considered close. However, Arsenal appear to have moved beyond simply monitoring the situation and are now waiting for Vinicius and Madrid to make the next move.
