‘Something bigger’ – Alessia Russo sends Arsenal message
Alessia Russo has spoken about the meaning of representing Arsenal after the club unveiled its new 2026/27 third kit.
The Arsenal third kit has been launched under the theme ‘Arsenal State of Mind’, with the campaign focused on belief, ambition and togetherness across the club.
Arsenal and adidas officially unveiled the new strip on Monday, with the club returning to a traditional yellow colour for the first time in five seasons.
The shirt also features navy detailing and an updated version of the lightning graphic previously associated with some of Arsenal’s most recognisable kits.
ReadArsenal previously covered the release of Arsenal’s 2026/27 away shirt, which was also inspired by the club’s history.

Arsenal officially launched the third kit as part of its new ‘Arsenal State of Mind’ campaign.
Russo explained that wearing an Arsenal shirt represents more than simply playing for the first team.
“Being part of Arsenal means being part of something bigger than yourself,” she said.
The England international highlighted the belief, ambition and togetherness shared between the players and supporters.
Russo added that the ‘Arsenal State of Mind’ represents everyone being part of the same journey and working towards the same goals.
“We can’t wait to wear this kit and create more amazing memories with our supporters this season,” she said.
The campaign includes both Arsenal Women and men’s first-team players, with Russo joined by the likes of Steph Catley, Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke.
Arsenal Women will hope the message carries into another major campaign under Renée Slegers as they prepare to compete for domestic and European silverware.
