As Arsenal fans eagerly await updates on Vinicius Junior, one video posted on Real Madrid's social channels yesterday left a sour taste in the mouth.
The attacking superstar was back in the building at Valdebebas following his efforts with Brazil at the World Cup this summer.
First he underwent fitness testing before filming some content for Real Madrid, who basically documented his performance during a training session.
The video started with Vini speaking directly down the camera, stating: "Hi Madridistas, come train with me," as he wore a beaming smile.
It's the kind of footage that makes you question whether Vini would truly consider leaving Real Madrid for Arsenal in the coming weeks.

Contract discussions and dialogue with Los Blancos will dictate that but from what we're reading, Vini is still some distance away from agreeing fresh terms with the Galacticos.
It means there needs to be a drastic shift from either the player of club to resolve matters but it seems clear from the video that Vini is very relaxed and happy to be back training.
Arsenal need an answer because if they are unable to land Vini, they may well go after other big-money targets. Right now, outside of Bruno Guimaraes, it feels as though the rest of their summer business is effectively on hold because of the financial might required to make a play for the 26-year-old winger.
You can't help but question whether the Gunners are being taken for a ride. Do they have a genuine chance of snapping up Vinicius or is he merely utilising their interest to secure lucrative contractual terms at Real Madrid?

Either way, the serious stuff, the direct meetings between Team Vini and Los Blancos must happen soon. All parties need clarity and must understand how they are going to proceed.
Unfortunately for Arsenal, is currently feels like this will rumble on. There's scope for counter contract proposals, tweaks and demands.
Equally - and this will be what the Gunners will hold onto - if there is still some distance between the parties after the next crunch meeting, Arsenal will smell blood.
Real Madrid will be under pressure because Vini's value is only going to decrease if he stays put without signing a contract extension.
Jose Mourinho's side will have a limit, a financial bracket they will not want to exceed and Arsenal must hope Vinicius' demands are above that threshold so they are given an opportunity to broker a deal.
