Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao is leaning towards a move to Chelsea, according to reports in the Italian media.
Newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport claim that Stamford Bridge “could be the most pleasing” destination for the Portuguese international if he does depart Turin this summer.
Manchester United and Liverpool have both made enquiries for Conceicao, but his agent, Jorge Mendes, is not currently on the best of terms with the Red Devils.
In an ideal world, it is believed the 23-year-old would prefer to remain where he is, but the decision to sell him is said to be out of his hands.
If Conceicao were to move away from Juve, though, Chelsea and Liverpool would likely be preferable for Mendes, although it seems the player himself is leaning towards the London club.
Chelsea don’t need Conceicao
Manager Xabi Alonso is certainly not lacking options on the right wing, with Estevao, Pedro Neto, Geovany Quenda and even Cole Palmer all capable of playing in that position if needed.
You do feel this is more about Juve offering up one of their players as a way of raising cash for their own transfer business.

It is believed that Conceicao’s name has been mentioned amid talks about Benoit Badiashile moving in the other direction. Napoli remain favourites for the Frenchman’s signature, but Gazzetta report that club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has “blocked” any further signings until more sales are made.
For now, it appears Conceicao won’t be making the switch to Stamford Bridge, although it seems he would be happy to make the move if there was a chance to do so.
