The future of Mohamed Salah has remained one of the biggest talking points since he brought his nine-year Liverpool career to an end at the conclusion of last season.
The Egyptian forward has been linked with clubs across multiple leagues, but his future remains unresolved as the summer window enters its closing weeks.

Interest in the former Liverpool star has emerged from several markets. Turkish clubs have featured prominently in recent weeks, while teams in the Saudi Pro League and Major League Soccer have also been credited with monitoring his situation.
Despite the widespread speculation, no club has officially completed a deal for the 34-year-old.
The latest development points back towards Saudi Arabia.
While Salah has previously been linked with a move to Turkey, fresh reports suggest Al-Ittihad are continuing their efforts to secure his signature, although the proposed transfer could depend on activity elsewhere in their squad.
According to journalist Ismael Mahmoud, Al-Ittihad are in negotiations with Salah over a potential move. The report states that the Saudi Pro League club are prepared to increase their efforts if Moussa Diaby leaves the club before the transfer window closes.
Mahmoud adds that Diaby’s departure would strengthen Al-Ittihad’s financial position and allow the club to pursue Salah more aggressively in an attempt to finalise an agreement. At this stage, negotiations are ongoing and no deal has been completed.
The update comes after weeks of reports linking Salah with a move to Turkey. Besiktas were in discussions with the former Liverpool forward, while more recent reports indicate that Trabzonspor have also shown interest and remain in contact over a possible deal.
Besiktas, however, have since indicated that negotiations have stalled. Club official Onder Ozen confirmed they held several meetings with Salah’s representatives before discussions reached a financial deadlock, with the Istanbul side unwilling to move beyond their wage structure.
Mohamed Salah has also continued to attract interest from Major League Soccer. Reports earlier in the summer have linked him with a move to Sporting Kansas City.
Al-Ittihad’s pursuit therefore represents the latest chapter in a transfer saga that has involved clubs from three different continents.
The Saudi side have maintained their long-standing admiration for Salah, having previously attempted to sign him while he was still under contract at Liverpool.
