Chelsea trained in front of over 15,000 fans at the Kai Tak Stadium on Tuesday, with the squad experiencing a wonderful reception in Hong Kong.
The Blues were put to work in front of supporters ahead of Wednesday’s meeting with Juventus, with Xabi Alonso and his staff putting the players through their paces.
After some warm-up drills, the players then split into groups for either set-piece routines or shooting practice. After that, Alonso and his staff worked on some tactical aspects before moving into small-sided games.
Once training was finished, the players returned from the dressing rooms to wave and clap the passionate fans inside the stadium, with some lucky supporters even receiving a photo or a signed piece of merchandise.
Danny Welbeck, Pedro Neto, Mike Penders, Mykhailo Mudryk, Gaga Slonina and Geovany Quenda all trained, as did Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro and Moises Caicedo.
