Bruno Guimaraes is poised for news from Newcastle United chiefs after fresh talks with Arsenal

Newcastle United remain in dialogue with Arsenal over the transfer of Bruno Guimaraes to the Premier League champions.
The player remains at their La Manga training camp, and while reports of a 'total agreement' emerged on Tuesday afternoon, sources at St James' Park insist there is 'no agreement' just yet.
At no stage has Bruno's exit ever been dismissed, and it has been about Arsenal showing Newcastle the colour of their money, something the Gunners have been reluctant to do during a window that has left Newcastle far from impressed with their approach.
However, there is an expectation that a deal could be done with Bruno's representatives desperately pushing for an outcome.

So far, Bruno has remained silent on the situation and is respectful to his current employers, complying with each request behind the scenes. We understand that, regardless of what happens, Bruno is well aware of the importance of a proper pre-season after the World Cup.
Newcastle chiefs insist that should Bruno be sold, it will be on their terms, and it is expected that a fee north of £80m will be the tipping point. That figure in itself is believed to be more than the Gunners want to pay, with their highest valuation believed to be around the £70m figure.
Newcastle were badly burned by the Alexander Isak situation last summer and are keen to ensure that a long drawn-out saga doesn't hijack their summer. At the same time, they are insistent they won't be walked over by any club.
CEO David Hopkinson said earlier this year: "If an Isak-like scenario presents itself again, any player under contract is going to leave on our terms. We're going to maximise the opportunity that might represent for the club."
Bruno flew over to La Manga yesterday to hook up with team-mates after boarding a commercial flight and has now met the new incoming head coach Matthias Jaissle.
