Manchester City will hope to recover from their penalty shootout defeat against Serie A champions Inter Milan when they face a K-League All Stars side on Wednesday.
The Citizens were held to a 1-1 draw by Inter on Saturday, before the Italian outfit ran out 3-1 winners on penalties.
New head coach Enzo Maresca will be desperate to see his side improve on Wednesday, before another friendly against Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
In the meantime, it appears that City are making a move to sign a winger from one of their Premier League rivals.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Man City have made contact with the representatives of Chelsea winger Pedro Neto about a potential deal.
The Portugal international – who was part of Roberto Martinez’s squad for the World Cup earlier this summer – joined the Blues from Wolves back in 2024 having impressed hugely during his time at Molineux.

Since arriving in the capital, though, the Portuguese has scored just 19 goals in 103 games for Chelsea across all competitions, as well as registering the same number of assists.
The Italian journalist claims that City are keen to lure Neto to the Etihad, where he would work with former Chelsea boss Maresca who he worked under during the Italian’s time at Stamford Bridge.
Neto’s contract with Chelsea is set to run until the end of the 2030/31 campaign, and Romano claims that the likelihood of a deal depends largely on how much Chelsea will demand for the player.
City’s interest in Neto stems from uncertainty surrounding the future of Savinho, who is a target for Tottenham Hotspur.
If the Brazilian departs City, Romano claims that the Manchester club have placed Neto high on their list of possible replacements.
