Having confirmed the signing of Jordan Henderson, Chelsea’s fourth signing in the past week, the Blues might have been forgiven for slowing down in the transfer market.
With a whopping £335m spent on 10 new signings so far, the Blues have already splashed out huge amounts. But the latest reports suggest Chelsea are ploughing on with interest in many other players.

Pep Chavarria is said to be close to completing a move to Chelsea after a breakthrough in talks, while there has been talk of a potential signing in goal. Portugal’s first-choice Diogo Costa has been linked.
Another new name has now emerged. PAOK’s Greece international Giannis Konstantelias is a target for Chelsea according to Gianluca Di Marzio. So, who is the 23-year-old and what can he offer Chelsea?

Konstantelias form in Greece and his favoured position
If Konstantelias was to join Chelsea, the 18-time Greece international would be direct cover for Cole Palmer. An attacking midfielder, the PAOK star has already clocked up a whopping 188 senior games.
He’s already had a hand in 70 goals for his boyhood club, scoring an impressive 44 goals and laying on 26 assists. Konstantelias has also scored four goals for his country, which has obviously caught the eye.

His failed move to Stuttgart in 2025
Konstantelias has been linked with plenty of clubs over the past few years, but last summer the Greek star came within an inch of joining Stuttgart in a deal believed to be around £17m. However, it fell through.
Little surprise then that this summer, the PAOK ace is on the radar of a few clubs including Chelsea. The issue for the Blues is that he has a contract with the Greek side until the summer of 2030.
How much Chelsea would need to spend on him
Given Chelsea have already splashed north of £300m this summer, it means any new additions are only expected to come in after the Blues sell some of their fringe players this month.

However, Konstantelias is a pretty cheap option in comparison to some of the signings made by the Blues this summer. GOAL, as per BILD, claim a fee of £17m would be required to sign him this summer, again.
Chelsea’s rivals in pursuit of Greek sensation
Unsurprisingly, Chelsea are not alone in their pursuit to sign the PAOK ace. Di Marzio confirms Chelsea are one of three clubs eyeing the attacking midfielder, but that Dortmund and Juventus are also keen.
Interestingly, Chelsea face Juventus on Wednesday in Hong Kong and perhaps, Konstantelias will be watching from afar and using it to judge which side he might prefer to join in the coming weeks.

Arsenal and Man City’s previous interest
Back in 2023, Konstantelias was already a regular for PAOK but the youngster was attracting the interest from Europe’s biggest sides. According to the Sun, Arsenal and Man City were among the clubs scouting.
It comes as a surprise that Konstantelias has remained at his boyhood club for so long. But this summer, with four weeks until the deadline, there is now every chance that he finally leaves the Greek side.
