Everton are said to be 'capable' of paying a big fee to land a certain winger in this transfer window. The Toffees have already spent more than £60million this summer across their three new recruits, which include Merlin Rohl, Tyrique George and Hayden Hackney.
But David Moyes wants more this summer, aiming to bridge the gap between his side and the top seven, This is an ambitious Everton project, and European football is going to be required for any further growth. A winger is said to be one of Moyes' next priorities, while Christian Norgaard looks to be set to sign from Arsenal, and Celtic's Alistair Johnston is a clear target.
As far as wingers go, Galatasaray wideman Baris Alper Yilmaz appears to be a genuine target.

According to Football Insider, Everton view Yilmaz as one of several viable options as they look to address the wide areas over the coming weeks. The problem? Galatasaray are asking for £35million to sell, which would be a huge investment from the Toffees.
The report claims Everton are 'capable' of paying such a fee to land a top winger this summer, but they are also assessing other options at this point.
Meanwhile, Yilmaz is said to be attracting interest from Saudi Arabia this summer, which could push the price up even further. He is also drawing interest from other European clubs, having scored 12 and assisted 14 for Galatasaray last season. The 26-year-old also scored and assisted at the World Cup despite Türkiye enduring a tough tournament.

Speaking earlier in the summer about the reported asking price, Turkiye boss Yılmaz Vural said: "Galatasaray cannot find a player like Barış Alper for €30 million. He has played in five or six different positions and has been useful in every one of them."
Yilmaz is still only 26 years of age, and he has proven himself a productive wideman, scoring 37 and assisting 36 in 205 Galatasaray appearances, which includes Champions League and Europa League experience.
As far as Everton are concerned, it will be interesting to see which direction they go in, and whether Moyes will opt for more proven Premier League players, given the amount they are reportedly willing to spend. Jack Grealish remains an option, and the England international has already proven he can work well in Moyes' system, but that could be an expensive deal when factoring in wages, and so the new winger situation remains unclear for now.
