Liverpool are reportedly pushing to sign Ibrahim Mbaye as well as Bradley Barcola. Both wingers are said to be keen on joining the Reds from Paris Saint-Germain.
The clubs are in discussions over a potential deal for Barcola, and Liverpool have held preliminary talks with the France international's representatives. There are encouraging signs coming from his camp after their contact over a move to the Reds, who have made Barcola their priority this summer.
Mbaye, however, is apparently on their radar as well. Both players are into the final two years of their contracts with the back-to-back Champions League winners.
French television channel RMC Sport claims that Liverpool want the Senegal international, having 'ticked' his name. PSG are said to be open about selling Mbaye, who is described as 'on the market'.
Several top clubs have reportedly enquired about the 18-year-old, with the Reds seemingly one suitor who stands out. Liverpool appear to have accelerated their approaches in recent days, showing concrete interest.
The club are said to have 'fallen under the spell' of Mbaye, who is also apparently 'particularly seduced by the prospect' of making the move. Dialogue over a potential deal is reportedly due to begin before long.
