Liverpool are reportedly pushing to sign Ibrahim Mbaye as well as Bradley Barcola. Both wingers are said to be keen on joining the Reds from Paris Saint-Germain.
The clubs are in discussions over a potential deal for Barcola, and Liverpool have held preliminary talks with the France international's representatives. There are encouraging signs coming from his camp after their contact over a move to the Reds, who have made Barcola their priority this summer.
Mbaye, however, is apparently on their radar as well. Both players are into the final two years of their contracts with the back-to-back Champions League winners.
French television channel RMC Sport claims that Liverpool want the Senegal international, having 'ticked' his name. PSG are said to be open about selling Mbaye, who is described as 'on the market'.
Several top clubs have reportedly enquired about the 18-year-old, with the Reds seemingly one suitor who stands out. Liverpool appear to have accelerated their approaches in recent days, showing concrete interest.
The club are said to have 'fallen under the spell' of Mbaye, who is also apparently 'particularly seduced by the prospect' of making the move. Dialogue over a potential deal is reportedly due to begin before long.

PSG reportedly value the teenage forward at over £34million (€40million). However, it is also acknowledged that both clubs are very far apart on Barcola.
The Parisian club have apparently set their price at over £129million (€150million), but Liverpool do not want to break the bank. A compromise appears necessary, and any agreement could see PSG receive a club-record amount in a single transfer window.
Moving on from Goncalo Ramos, Kang-in Lee and Randal Kolo Muani to Milan, Atletico Madrid and Juventus, respectively, have already earned almost £129million (€150million). It is said that the total could exceed £257million (€300million) if both Barcola and Mbaye also depart.
Their record stands at just over £171million (€200million) three summers ago, almost half of which came from Al-Hilal signing Neymar for around £78million (€90million). PSG also sold Marco Verratti to Al-Arabi for £39million (€45million) in addition to several other departures.
