While Arsenal are working hard on incomings, they are also open to selling a number of players before the transfer deadline.
Christian Norgaard is set to seal a £7million switch to fellow Premier League side Everton as the Gunners close in on the signing of Newcastle captain Bruno Guimaraes.
Further exits will also hinge on potential incomings, while some stars are headed for the exit door, regardless of who arrives at the Emirates Stadium.
Those include winger Reiss Nelson, who spent last season on loan at Brentford. Benfica, now managed by Marco Silva - who worked with Nelson at Fulham - have been credited with interest, while West Ham and Valencia have also been name-checked as potential suitors.
The reality is, so far, Arsenal have yet to receive any suitable offers for the forward, though it's clear the champions are seeking to move him on.

The same applies to Portuguese attacking midfielder Fabio Vieira, who caught the eye last season while on loan at Hamburger SV.
Hamburg passed up their buy-option as it was out of their financial reach but they've since been in contact with the Gunners to try and negotiate a cut-price deal.
The sticking point is that Arsenal signed Vieira for £34m from Porto and they can still command a credible fee on the back of a promising spell in the Bundesliga.
HSV are trying to dig their heels in and hope Arsenal will soften their stance the longer the window rumbles on as it's clear the player is not part of Mikel Arteta's plans.
Then there's Gabriel Jesus. A talented player and worthy member of the squad but if the Gunners feel there's an opportunity to upgrade their forward options, they will explore it.
Interest has been minimal despite widespread links to a series of Brazilian clubs and AC Milan. His contract expires in 2027 and this could well be the last big chance to recoup a decent fee.

Offers within the region of £20m would likely be considered given he is behind Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres in the attacking pecking order.
If Arsenal receive encouragement that they can land Vinicius Junior, they will consider offers for Gabriel Martinelli.
Martinelli has one year remaining on his contract, though Arsenal have a one-year extension option they can formally trigger.
He remains a valued member of the squad but again, if the Premier League champions feels there's an opportunity to strengthen then they are likely to display their ruthless streak.
Finally, Ethan Nwaneri's future remains in the balance. His stock has dipped slightly following a tough six-month loan with Marseille but there's a raft of clubs monitoring his situation.
It's not yet clear whether he will stay, head out on another loan or be sold but Arsenal will consider permanent offers for the attacking midfielder.
