Sadio Mane has already told Liverpool what they can expect from Ibrahim Mbaye
Liverpool seem to have woken up from their transfer slumber after entering the race to sign Ibrahim Mbaye from PSG.
The Senegalese international is likely to leave this summer and is wanted by a host of clubs across the planet.
Liverpool have made their move for Mbaye and it remains to be seen if they get the deal over the line.
The Liverpool and Senegal connection immediately throws another name into the mix, which is Sadio Mane.
And the Al Nassr man has already delivered his verdict on his compatriot as the Reds attempt to complete the transfer.

In many ways, Mbaye could be the heir to Mane’s throne at Liverpool and the Senegal national team.
Mane is his country’s greatest footballer of the modern era, with Mbaye undoubtedly their brightest talent of the current generation.
And the pair played together at the 2026 AFCON and even combined for a goal, with the PSG attacker setting up the Liverpool icon as they won the competition.

“Seventeen years old and at this level, I think it’s impressive,” said the Senegal captain about Mbaye via Rousing the Kop.
“He has a bright future ahead of him. We will try to help him find the right rhythm so that he can help us even more, because he is an exceptional player.”
By all accounts, Mbaye seems like an outrageous talent and has Mane’s seal of approval, so Liverpool need to get this deal over the line ASAP.
