Chelsea winger Pedro Neto has been linked with a move to Manchester City, and his potential sale could see the Blues set up to sign their perfect midfield target.
New Man City boss Enzo Maresca has clearly identified Neto from his former side as a player who could boost the attacking quality at the Etihad next season.
Jorge Mendes has been offering Neto out to numerous sides this summer, including Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.

Pedro Neto sale can finally allow Chelsea to sign Adam Wharton
A move to City, who are set to play in the Champions League next season, would surely be more appealing for the winger, and bring in serious money for the Blues too.
It has previously been reported that Chelsea value Neto at around £68m, and this could be money the Blues could put towards the signing of Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace.

The Blues have already done business with Palace this summer following the signing of Maxence Lacroix, with relations between the two sides believed to be very strong.
Xabi Alonso reportedly wants the signing too, with Palace expected to ask for up to £86m for his signature.
After adding Jordan Henderson to their squad, there may be more of an ambition to sign a new midfielder if Enzo Fernandez gets his desired move away from the club this summer.

Chelsea need to sell before signing more big players
The Argentine has made it clear he wants to play for Real Madrid next season, however as of yet Jose Mourinho’s side are yet to formalise their interest in signing him.
There is real excitement about what the partnership of Wharton and Moises Caicedo could provide for Chelsea, with them looking more balanced than the South American duo when playing as a midfield two.
Chelsea need player sales to be able to make signings like this happen though, and parting ways with Neto would be a great starting point.
There would still be plenty of quality in the wide areas for the Blues too. Alongside Morgan Rogers, the club have Jamie Gittens, Estevao Willian and new arrival Geovany Quenda to rely on.
