The Blues are taking on the Italian giants in Hong Kong in the first of three games in Asia, following two matches in Australia.
But Palmer and Colwill will sit out the game, despite joining their team-mates at Kai Tak Sports Park.
Both players were unable to fully train on Tuesday, with their fitness issues described as minor and their absences as precautionary.
