Liverpool's transfer window is finally coming to life.
Already in talks to sign Bradley Barcola in a big-money move from Paris Saint-Germain, the Reds have now also got their sights set on Ibrahim Mbaye in a double swoop from the French giants. The winger looks destined to leave the European champions and Anfield could be awaiting.
Then, it may be back to Tyneside to compile Newcastle's misery. 12 months after signing Alexander Isak from St James' Park, it's now Nick Woltemade who finds himself on Liverpool's radar.

There's a lot of work for Liverpool to do before the transfer window comes to a close. Whether that sees them swoop in to deal Newcastle yet another blow remains to be seen, however.

As reported by Caught Offside, Newcastle have now told Woltemade that he can leave this summer. The news has alerted Liverpool, as they look to add to their frontline before the window slams shut.
Their source claims Newcastle are 'keen on a permanent sale for around €65m (£55m)' however, while the interested suitors - who include both Liverpool and Manchester United along with Dortmund, Atletico and Aston Villa - prefer a loan with an option to buy.
Praised for his "excellent" close-control by scout Jacek Kulig last season, the German striker initially got off to an impressive start on Tyneside, and it is surprising the Magpies are willing to sanction a loss on his move just 12 months on from his arrival.
It would be even more of a shock if they allowed their Isak replacement to tread the same path as his predecessor without even receiving a fee this summer, as Liverpool are hoping, with PIF seemingly going full throttle into total rebuild under Matthias Jaissle.
