Youssouf Fofana finds his future at AC Milan uncertain, with Everton and Crystal Palace lining up a move.
The Frenchman joined the Rossoneri from AS Monaco in 2024. After a good first season, he also played for the French national team, but a poor 2025/26 campaign changed the outlook.
Fofana was criticised for his performances under Max Allegri, whose defensive system never suited him.
This led to Sport Witness covering interest from several English sides. Milan were looking around for potential suitors after a frustrating campaign. Everton and Crystal Palace are now keen.

Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo reports that Milan’s stance on Yousouff Fofana has changed. Manager Ruben Amorim is now willing to give him a chance, with the player having done well in the friendly against Celtic.
For Milan, the player is not unsellable, and Everton and Crystal Palace have made enquiries about his signature. An offer of €20m would convince the Italian side into a sale.
Fofana wants to prove himself to Amorim. He has put the exit talk behind him and he wants to try his luck in the manager’s system.
The midfielder is currently playing for AC Milan in a friendly against Inter. How he does will have a big say in his future.
