Trabzonspor is one of the most prominent football clubs in Turkey.
They have won seven Super Lig championships, with six of them coming between 1976 and 1984.
The Black Sea Storm clinched their most recent league title in 2022, ending a 38-year wait.
Salah left Liverpool at the end of last season following a highly successful nine-year stint at the club.
The 34-year-old was a relatively unknown figure when he joined the Merseyside giants from Roma for an initial £36.5 million fee in 2017.
But he quickly established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League.
Salah helped his team win two Premier League titles and the 2019 Champions League trophy.
He made 442 appearances across all competitions, scoring 257 goals and 123 assists in the process.
Salah decided to bring the curtain down on his illustrious career with Liverpool at the end of the 2025-26 season after falling out with former Reds manager Arne Slot.
Reports suggested he was close to joining Besiktas, but it appears he will be heading to Trabzonspor instead.
