Chelsea will have a “busy August” in terms of sales, with Tosin Adarabioyo now among the candidates who could be “leaving”, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said that the Blues are now prioritising the departures of several unwanted players:
“For Chelsea, it’s going to be busy for sure, a busy August because yes, they signed Welbeck, Henderson and all the others, but now Chelsea are going to complete some outgoings.”
“So, Trevoh Chalobah is going to Como for €30million plus €6m in add-ons and a sell-on clause; Badiashile is leaving, I think also Tosin Adarabioyo is leaving.”

Adarabioyo’s name has been mentioned as a potential candidate for sale in recent weeks, but there hasn’t been any confirmation (until now) that the club were actively trying to get rid of him.
The decision to snap up the defender on a free transfer from Fulham in 2024 was an opportunistic one, as he was stolen from under the noses of Newcastle, who were originally favourites for his signature.
However, Adarabioyo hasn’t been overly convincing in his two campaigns at Stamford Bridge, and he has failed to nail down a regular spot in the starting eleven.

Alonso has a bloated squad
There are now 41 players in the first team following confirmation of Jordan Henderson’s arrival earlier this week. It is not a surprise that Chelsea are trying to offload some of them.
Nicolas Jackson is up for sale, with Aston Villa among his suitors. A fee of around £65m would be accepted for the Senegalese international.
Liam Delap is deemed surplus to requirements, while Marc Guiu is set to be sold or loaned out. Despite only arriving last month, the future of Emmanuel Emegha is far from certain.
Axel Disasi is another centre-back who is set to depart, while Mamadou Sarr and Aaron Anselmino are available for loan. Goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen is already expected to join Strasbourg on a temporary basis, while buyers have been encouraged to come forward for Gabriel Slonina.
There are also doubts over the futures of Enzo Fernandez, Malo Gusto and Pedro Neto, who could be let go if their asking prices are met.
