Liverpool's Spanish signing has joined up with the rest of the team for the first time at the club's training facilities, while showing off his new jersey number

Victor Munoz has chosen his Liverpool jersey, wearing the No. 23 on his shorts as he entered the club's training facilities for the first time on Wednesday.
The World Cup winner joined Liverpool from Osasuna this summer, after the club moved in to hijack Newcastle's deal to trigger his release clause. Munoz preferred a move to Liverpool over Newcastle and was quick to sign a deal while with the Spanish squad at the World Cup in the United States.
Spain went on to win the tournament, meaning that he was one of the last to return to the team. Alexis Mac Allister, who played in the World Cup final for Argentina, is now the only player who has not yet reported, amid links to a potential transfer away.
Munoz was seen in a clip uploaded to the Reds' social media, wearing the No. 23 on his shorts.
The number was most famously worn by Jamie Carragher throughout his career with the club, who opted not to move to a single-digit number and remained in it for 17 years.
In recent years, it has been worn by Emre Can and Xherdan Shaqiri. It has remained vacant since 2023, when Luis Diaz wore it before switching to the No. 7.

Munoz returned to the club earlier than expected, with Andoni Iraola stating that the player had decided to do so.
Iraola said: "We spoke to him and he wanted also to come a little bit earlier than the three weeks that they have the right to have, because obviously he is coming to a new club, he will need some time to adapt, to meet his teammates."
Munoz picking the No. 23 means Mohamed Salah's vacant No. 11 remains available, with Liverpool fans hoping it is a sign they will make a move for Bradley Barcola.
The Reds remain interested in the Paris Saint-Germain superstar but do not appear willing to meet the lofty price tag attached to him.
Liverpool has reportedly started looking at another player from the French club, fellow winger Ibrahim Mbaye.
While reports suggest that a move for Mbaye is separate from any deal for Barcola, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool will spend what is expected to be close to $180 million for both players.
Liverpool.com says: Munoz joins the club in much need of help down the flanks. One of Liverpool's big weaknesses was its pace on the wing, with Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah looking predictable too often. Munoz is one of the fastest players in Europe.
However, it remains to be seen how he'll fare in the Premier League, with his offensive output being less than desirable so far in his career. Liverpool fans will be hoping the club can sign both Barcola and Mbaye, amid links that Gakpo could leave for Spurs."
