It follows after the 23-year-old had “agreed in principle” to join Liverpool after speaking directly with new head coach Andoni Iraola and club officials.

Those talks were convincing enough for the forward to assure the Reds he wants the move this summer, and that Liverpool have opened formal negotiations with PSG over a transfer.
DaveOCKOP.com bought you the exclusive news last week that Liverpool FC were preparing to send an official bid to the European champions regarding Barcola.
We then followed that up with the information that Liverpool have submitted an offer to the Ligue 1 giants.
The offer is in the region £100M of plus various add-ons tied to Premier League and Champions League successes the club may achieve.
However, the Parisian outfit are pushing back on the add-ons, as they want more achievable clauses relating to things like player performance for example.
Now according to L’Equipe journalist Loïc Tanzi, reporting in a Q&A session, has revealed that the Frenchman has already contractually agreed with Liverpool.
When asked whether “Barcola will sign for Liverpool”, the French journalist replied:
“This is a difficult question because the file is very far from over. But I like to get wet and take risks. It’s not information, but I tend to say yes, even if the positions of the two clubs are still very far apart. Paris is hoping for €150 million, excluding bonuses. Liverpool does not want to go above €120 million. There is still time to reach an agreement and, if Paris manages to sign a winger and a striker, the positions will surely be able to come closer more easily.”
He then added the key detail that the 23-year-old is “contractually agreed” with the Anfield club:
“In the meantime, Barcola is already contractually agreed with Liverpool.”
It certainly comes as a positive boost amid the talks between the two clubs.
