**Everton have confirmed Dave Reddington as their new full-time set piece coach.**
The club’s first-ever position of its kind was created after David Moyes’ return to the hot seat in January 2025 with [ex-Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam taking duties](https://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/everton-fc/56124-everton-confirm-new-moyes-staff-additions/).
But the Scotland international’s departure at the end of that campaign left a void with the Blues with no designated replacement emerging during the summer.
Reddington has now been installed as a permanent appointment to the role, having been initially drafted in by the club for the final month of the previous season.
The 45-year-old’s extended stay at Hill Dickinson Stadium comes after spells coaching Crystal Palace, AFC Wimbledon and Danish top flight side Aarhus.
Reddington becomes the fifth addition to Everton’s backroom staff since Moyes succeeded Sean Dyche, joining Billy McKinlay, Alan Irvine and Leighton Baines.
