Besiktas president Serdal Adali insists there is "no issue" with Leandro Trossard's registration despite claims the Belgian is yet to be granted a license to play for the club.
Trossard had enjoyed an extended break following his involvement at the World Cup with his national team but he's now part of training with the Black Eagles.
However, he will not participate in this week's Europa League qualifier against FC Hradec Kralove, which has sparked speculation about whether he's even eligible to play for his new club yet.
Adali has now set the record straight, explaining the hold-up. He said: "There is no issue with Leandro Trossard's registration! It was sorted out yesterday evening. We are waiting for the paperwork from England. He won't play in the first match, but hopefully, he will be ready to play by the second match."

Trossard joined Arsenal in a deal worth up to £17million earlier this summer, inclusive of add-ons.
He had decided that the time was right to pursue a new chapter in his career following a prolonged stay in the Premier League with Brighton and the Gunners.
The 31-year-old struck six goals and six assists in the top-flight last season as he helped fire Arsenal to their first title in 22 years.
His goal at West Ham in May proved to be one of the most-important goals in the club's recent history.

Besiktas boss is backing him to add real quality to his squad, stating: "Regarding Trossard, I am very happy that he has joined us. He finally arrived. We were eagerly awaiting his arrival. He has only participated in two training sessions so far.
"Therefore, he will not be with us in tomorrow's match. But we will see what happens in the second match. Trossard will truly add quality and experience to our team. I am looking forward to working with him and seeing him on the field."
Trossard is thought to have sensed that he'd be handed reduced playing time in north London this season and while the club have already replaced him with Christos Tzolis, there is a chance the Gunners could also add Vinicius Junior to their ranks by the end of the window.
