Chelsea winger Pedro Neto has been linked with a move to Manchester City, with supporters from both clubs being vocal with their thoughts on the potential deal.
Neto has only just joined up with the Blues squad on pre-season following his World Cup exploits, and has only just been given his chance to impress new manager Xabi Alonso.
It is former manager, Enzo Maresca, who is leading City’s push to sign the Portugal international this summer.

Chelsea and Man City fans react to Pedro Neto rumours
Chelsea are in need of a number of player sales if they want to sign another big name, and Neto’s departure could free them up to bring in someone like midfield target Adam Wharton.
Blues supporters are mostly in favour of the winger leaving, however have noted that they will need to replace him this summer should he depart.
One user said: “I’m selling Pedro Neto before Jamie Gittens. Gittens has a MUCH higher ceiling. The sale of Neto could be risky, considering his availability, experience, versatility, and he really does work hard for the team… However, Chelsea can do much better than him. He isn’t a winger that should be starting every game for Chelsea.”

Another added: “If Man City actually signs Neto, Chelsea fans have to forgive Maresca of all his sins.”
A third stated: “Pedro Neto I’ll need you to hand in that transfer request brother.”
City fans on the other hand are mixed about the potential deal, with some seeing him as an improvement on their current options at the club.
One user stated: “Savinho has 2 PL goals in 3 years at Manchester City. Say what you want about Neto it’s still an upgrade on Savinho.”
Another claimed: “The Neto hate feels forced and lacks logic. City need a winger that provides something different to what we get from Doku and Semenyo, there’s absolutely no point going for a similar profile. Neto is a smart, out of the box move that plays to Haaland’s strengths. I rate it!”
However, a third said: “I’m sorry but if he signs Pedro Neto I’m genuinely Maresca out before the season even begins. That’s genuinely sabotaging the club there’s no other way to put it.”
Finally, one user said: “Remember when Man City used to sign players like Riyad Mahrez? Now we’re being linked with Pedro Neto. No disrespect to Neto, but City should be targeting players who take the starting XI to another level. The standards have to remain high.”

Chelsea asking for big money for Neto
Chelsea have reportedly set a £68m asking price for Neto to leave this summer, with Saudi Arabian clubs interested in a deal too.
A sale would leave the Blues with Morgan Rogers, Jamie Gittens, Estevao Willian and Geovany Quenda as wide options, as well as Mykhailo Mudryk if he remains at the club.
Injuries have affected many of those though, and no matter what Neto delivered on the pitch, availability is the best ability, and he has been a very consistent presence in the side.
