Victor Munoz has impressed on his first day at Liverpool training.
The new signing joined up with the squad after being part of the World Cup winning Spain side.
Munoz was announced as a new signing during the World Cup and was given holiday time before joining up with the squad at the AXA Training Centre.
The rest of the squad has only just returned from the USA where they had a three game preseason tour.

When speaking on the standard of training Munoz said, “Today showed me exactly why Liverpool is one of the biggest clubs in the world. The intensity surprised me in the best way possible. Every drill was played like a match, every player demanded more from each other, and there wasn’t a single moment where you could switch off. You earn every touch of the ball here.”
The winger also recognised the level of quality of players within the Liverpool squad stating, “I’ve trained with top players before, but this was another level. The speed, the quality and the mentality push you to improve instantly. It’s demanding, but it’s exactly the environment I wanted. If this is the standard every day, I know I’ve come to the right place. Now it’s my job to match that intensity and prove I deserve to wear this shirt.”
