Tottenham Hotspur have had a very busy summer, spending over £230m on Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes, and Sandro Tonali, while Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, and Martin Dubravka have all also joined on a free transfer. The club are not done with their transfer business yet, with Roberto De Zerbi now fully focused on bringing in attacking reinforcements.

Tottenham monitoring Everton winger
According to an exclusive report from TEAMtalk, Tottenham are among several clubs monitoring Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye. Aston Villa, Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United are all in the mix as well.
Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal are moving aggressively to sign Iliman Ndiaye, who bagged six goals and three assists in 32 Premier League appearances last season. The 26-year-old was also a part of the Senegal squad at the World Cup, where he registered a goal and two assists in three appearances.
Now back with Everton, the versatile winger is being strongly pursued by Al Hilal. The report adds that the Toffees will only seriously consider selling Ndiaye if their asking price of around £75 million is met, with Al Hilal better placed than any of the Premier League outfits to sign him.
Should Spurs meet Everton’s asking price for Iliman Ndiaye?
Tottenham have not made direct contact with Everton or Ndiaye’s entourage over a move. They are currently monitoring his situation, but after the Toffees have slapped an eye-watering £75 million price tag on the player, Spurs’ potential pursuit may have been dealt a blow.
Truth be told, Ndiaye offers exactly the profile De Zerbi’s attack is missing. The Senegalese international is quick, direct, unpredictable, possesses the ability to carry the ball, beat defenders and play across several attacking positions. A left-winger by trade, the ex-Marseille man is also comfortable playing on the opposite flank and through the middle as a false 9 or No.10.
Despite his top-flight experience, versatility and proven skill-set, spending £75 million on Ndiaye would be a risky affair. That asking fee set by the Merseyside club does not represent the actual valuation of the player. Everton want to keep the winger this summer and are valuing him highly in a bid to scare off the suitors.
