Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are battling to sign Barış Alper Yılmaz and Galatasaray are open to letting him leave this summer.
Last season, the winger starred for the Istanbul club, scoring 12 goals and contributing 16 assists in 49 matches.
Everton have already made a move and Tottenham have joined them in the transfer race.
Earlier this week, Sport Witness covered claims from Turkey that Galatasaray have requested €50m, after rejecting Everton’s €35m bid. There’s expectation the Toffees will return with an improved bid.
Tottenham and Everton keen
Türkiye cover the latest on Roberto De Zerbi’s side and the Merseyside club’s interest in the Turkey international.
Barış Alper Yılmaz, who has less than two years left on his contract, dreams of moving to the Premier League.
However, he prioritises Gala’s interests and has left the decision making to their leaders.
This suggests the 26-year-old won’t force a move despite maintaining a dream of moving to England, where Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are keen.
PL duo ready to make advances
There could be movements around the attacker, mainly because of Tottenham Hotspur and Everton interest and Galatasaray’s willingness.
The English clubs have already made verbal approaches, however, it’s not clear whether the contact was with Galatasaray, his agent or both.
Either way, Spurs and David Moyes’ side want to sign Barış Alper Yılmaz and both are preparing official offers. The Toffees would make a second offer, after their opening €35m bid was turned down.

Galatasaray want €50m for winger
There’s no mention of the fees Tottenham and Everton are ready to offer, while the newspaper reiterates the Süper Lig winners want €50m. His former club, Ankara Keçiörengücü, retain a 20% sell-on clause.
The expectation is for the two clubs to take concrete steps and finalise the signing within 10 days.
Galatasaray’s plan is to invest part of the fee to sign AC Milan’s Rafael Leão. It’s worth noting the Italian media have stated he isn’t keen on moving to Turkey.
On Wednesday, we relayed news of Galatasaray’s initial move to sign Sunderland winger Chemsdine Talbi.
