**Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli “will not rush” any decision on his future, according to _CBS Sports_ reporter James Benge.**
The 25-year-old’s position in the first-team squad is under threat, with the Gunners pushing to sign [**Vinicius Jr**](https://goonernews.com/blog/arsenal-transfer-news-vinicius-jr/) from Real Madrid.
Martinelli has not been offered a contract extension either, which suggests he isn’t deemed to be a central part of the club’s long-term plans.
The forward’s current deal expires at the end of this season, although the Premier League champions do have an option to extend his stay for another twelve months.

Roma would seem to be the most likely destination at the moment, considering they have been trying to sign a new left winger all summer. The Giallorossi failed to secure the services of West Ham’s Crysencio Summerville, who ultimately decided to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, and they are said to be looking at a number of alternatives, including Martinelli, RB Leipzig’s Antonio Nusa, Fulham’s Kevin and AC Milan’s Rafael Leao.
