After cutting short his post-World Cup holiday to begin training with his new teammates on Wednesday, Victor Muñoz has made it clear that he feels ready to pull on the Liverpool shirt.
Speaking to the club’s official media channels, the Spanish winger said:
“I think I’m ready… I’m keen and I can’t wait to get started. \[Against\] Monaco, why not?”
It’s exactly the kind of attitude Liverpool supporters will love to hear.

Rather than taking every possible day of rest after his World Cup commitments, Muñoz chose to report early and begin working under Andoni Iraola.
