Liverpool are weighing up a possible move for Ibrahim Mbaye as they look to strengthen Andoni Iraola’s attacking options.
The Reds remain keen to improve their frontline, with the Paris Saint-Germain forward among several players being considered ahead of the new Premier League season.

Predominantly a right winger, the 18-year-old is reportedly valued between £34.2million and £43million and has been linked with a summer exit.
Mbaye racked up 30 appearances for PSG last season, scoring three goals and providing two assists, but started just 11 matches for the European champions.
With PSG already boasting attacking options such as Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue and Bradley Barcola, while also signing Maghnes Akliouche, Mbaye’s path to regular first-team football has become increasingly difficult.
Several top clubs have shown interest in the teenager, including Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Chelsea.
According to L’Équipe, Leipzig had emerged as the most likely destination in recent weeks after attempting to include Mbaye in negotiations with PSG for Yan Diomande. However, the collapse of talks for the Ivorian winger ended that possibility.
Leverkusen have also submitted an offer for Mbaye, although the details of the bid remain undisclosed, but PSG rejected the proposal.
Liverpool are reportedly leading the race to sign Ibrahim Mbaye this summer. PSG and Mbaye’s representatives, led by Jorge Mendes, are waiting for the club to clarify their position and set a transfer price.
Paris Saint-Germain are open to his departure if a suitable offer arrives, but some clubs could be deterred depending on the asking fee.
Mbaye has yet to decide his next destination and is waiting for more clarity before choosing from the offers on the table.
If PSG avoid demanding an excessive fee, he could join a mid-table club to secure regular playing time before making another move to a top side. Liverpool and Dortmund are currently among the clubs showing the strongest interest.
