Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with La Liga side Rayo Vallecano for the signing of left-back Pep Chavarría, with the Spanish defender now expected to travel to London to complete a medical ahead of his move to Stamford Bridge.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reports that the two clubs have finalised the terms of the transfer, paving the way for Chavarría to become Chelsea’s latest summer signing.
The 28-year-old is understood to be preparing to fly to England in the coming hours, with only the completion of his medical and the signing of contract documentation remaining before the move is officially announced.
