Chelsea have reportedly reopened negotiations with Crystal Palace over a potential move for highly-rated midfielder Adam Wharton as the club continues its search for long-term reinforcements in the centre of the pitch.
The England international has emerged as one of the most exciting young midfielders in the Premier League since joining Palace from Blackburn Rovers, attracting interest from several top clubs. Chelsea are believed to remain admirers of Wharton and have now reignited discussions over a possible summer move.
