Liverpool defender wanted by several clubs after strong pre-season
Liverpool have given a glimpse of how they want to play under Andoni Iraola in three pre-season friendlies so far.
A handful of young players have also been given run-outs in the absence of senior internationals, which has proved to be a blessing in disguise.
Mor Talla Ndiaye and Ifeanyi Ndukwe have impressed at the heart of the backline, while the same could be said about Luke Chambers.
The latter isn’t even a central defender but has slotted in there seamlessly in the absence of others, featuring in each of Liverpool’s games so far.
And his performances haven’t gone unnoticed as clubs are circling to sign him on loan.
Luke Chambers could leave Liverpool on loan
Liverpool Echo confirm that Chambers is wanted by QPR on loan, while a few clubs from abroad are also interested.
Chambers has made three senior appearances for Liverpool so far and spent the second half of last season out on loan at Charlton Athletic, where he played an important part in saving them from relegation from the Championship.

The report also mentions that the Reds will make a decision on Chambers later on in the transfer window, as players could still join or leave.
Whatever happens, Chambers will sign a contract extension before leaving and has well and truly taken his chance in pre-season to endear himself to Iraola and his potential suitors.
